blah..

I hate being sick.. especially when I have finals to study for.. I went out in the cold, brisk wind and heavy snow to pick up some DayQuil and NyQuil form the bookstore.. yeah.. they are completely out of anything even slightly related to cold medicine. I'm at a loss for who I can go with to the Billy Talent concert, since Leigh Ann has finals and Nicole can't go.. But I will find someone to go with dammit!! even if I have to swallow my nerves and see if dane wants to go.. I could ask him on Tuesday at the Alkaline Trio show.. or I can just make either Nick or Joel go - I don't care if they've never heard of 'em.. they're a good band and that's all that really matters..

I'm gonna go.. download more cds to my hard drive..

So.. Today I actually woke up early. I woke up at 9:45 to take a shower, get dressed, and go to church at 11:00. I ran into Melissa and Mark and after mass, we went to breakfast at Prentice where I ran into Rachel and we talked about our fretting over Chem.. When I got back to the dorm, I went to the lounge to watch the Browns/Steelers game - the Browns had a mega off day!! grr!! I mean, Pittsburg's only points were those they scored off of fumbles or interceptions.. All Cuz our damn runningbacks weren't paying attention and lost the ball like after every carry - how pathetic!! sorry bout that hostility.. It's just been such a sad weekend for us Ohioans.. with OSU losing to their archrival Michigan, and then the Browns losing to their archrival The Steelers.. I then attempted to do some chem.. got about 5 problems done.. then fell asleep on top of all my books.. great huh?? I haven't tried to do anything else.. I'm just waiting for the SLC meeting from ending so that I can go with people to Rosie's to get some Grub!!

I'm definately out for the night!! Hopefully tomorrow will bring more productivity!!

It's the second lovely day in a row!! Hey!! I just used the title of a Lit song.. cuz I totally rock!! Muahaha.. Oh wellsies!! =) Today, classes went by quickly but now I am really bored.. because I happen to be procrastinating doing Chemistry problems because I have NO attention span whatsoever!! I wish I could have gone home this weekend.. but I guess I can wait till Tuesday.. hopefully.. I want some quiet time but can never get it.. grr.. I can't wait till next year when I only have one roommate - it'll be so NICE!! well... bye all!!

rage rage against they dying of the light

Mood: Day-Dreaming??
Music: Billy Talent!!

So I'm doing fairly well right now.. I got soaked in the monsoon walking back from the Student Center.. so I took myself a nice hot, long, relaxing shower.. it was great!! Tomorrow is my easy day - leaving the dorm about 10:15 to get Alkaline Trio tickets for me and Nicole, then off to my Music class and then I'm done!! I think I'm going to start preparing for Tuesday's Chem Exam by doing some book probs or somthing.. So I can maintain my B in that class and get my 3.4 or whatever it was gonna work out to.. I dunno tho.. Looking forward to the week being over!! No orientation on Friday!! yay!! And I don't have to go to Psychology anymore since I already have my A in there, so I don't need to take the final!! yay!! That means, that from Wed thru Fri, I only have 6 more classes to attend!! music twice, structure twice, chem once, and intro to nursing!! that is so great!! well, i'm out.. buhbye!!

Mood: Pleasantly Content with My Life :)
Music: Singing Billy and AFI in my head!!

I am so glad that in a week and a day I'll be home for 5 days for Thanksgiving break!! I get to hang out with Leigh Ann on Tuesday night and go CD splurging at Quonset Hut (not like I really need to do that again tho..) ahaha.. but we're also gonna get our tix for Billy Talent at Peabody's the 12th of December, and we're gonna punk rock out to the new Handsome Devil CD!! hecks yeah!! I also get to see all my other friends cuz they rock!! like Thursday uhhuh!! uhhuh!! yay for you all!! nicole, colleen, kristin.. i'll probably give jenny a call or email to cuz I just love that girl!! she is so awesome!! I'll be working Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.. so come visit me!! (@ Target in case you forgot!!) ahahaha..

Today I made Chicken Paprikash and Palacinta and Nut Horns as my Hungarian dinner for KIC's Diversity Week. Everyone loved my food.. yay!! I can cook after all!! j/k.. I always could!! lol.. This morning I made it to Structure so easily cuz I took a shower last night, so this morning I actually had time to put on makeup and perfume before class, and then I put the finishing touches on my Understanding Music paper after class, and turned it in at my class!! yay!! Now no more papers till next semester for any class!! yippee!! I listened to Billy Talent 5 times today and afi black sails in the sunset and the art of drowning cuz I'm fuckin' a right!! ow ow!! Hell Yes!! .. ok now.. enough with the lyrical referencing.. I'm such a bitch like that!! Oh well!! You can deal with it, can't ya?? I thought so!!

Mmm-kay.. so.. tomorrow's probably going to suck, just because it is so busy compared to my 2-class Mondays. I once again have to rise and shine for Structure and Function at 7:45 (BLAH), then I gotta go to Chem at 10:45, and Psych at 12:15, then I get to re-live the Fetal Pig dissection from 9th grade biology with Mr. Hanson at my 2:15 Structure Lab.. ewww!! Well, actually it's not ewww at all!! It's fucking amazing!! It's our first real lab of the year!! Damn straight!! And I'm excited 'cause I haven't dissected anything since Human Phys the 1st semester of my Junior Year!! Yippee Skippy!! ahahahah!!!! I'm pure evil!! and my laugh is sinister!! You know it turns ya on too ;) oi! oi! oi! Horns in the air!! 'Cause you know Jeremy can't play the part without 'em!! sorry bout that.. i just combined the enjoyment of a Flogging Molly show with that of Lit.. ahhahhaah.. i kill myself!! I think I am seriously lacking sleep.. even though I'm not even Slightly tired.. because I am so completely hyper and weird tonight!! I'm thinking about just IMing a random person.. ahem!!.. and being like - hey!! what's up???? j/k.. Just 'cause I'm hyper doesn't mean that I've got any more guts or n e thing.. lol.. oh well.. it's all good!! <convince me baby, it's all good!!> Lit is so damn amazing.. they make me shivvvvvveeerrrr with delight!! Sure can't wait till early Spring of 2004 for their new cd.. tentatively titled: weapons of mass distruction.. (i think??? like i said already.. i am quite lacking in the sleep department and although i know that title is at least close, if i am completely wrong, don't be too angry with me!! i'm trying my damnedest!!) well, I think I'm gonna go try to chill a bit.. maybe head out to Rosie's?? I kinda want some French Fries and ranch dressing!! mmmhmmm!!

staring into space..

how bad is it that i got only 2 hours of sleep last night.. and i'm not even tired right now?? i have really bad insomnia!! and another exam tomorrow.. i'm such a moron.. oh well!! is it possible to feel like you could possibly love someone before you even talk to them?? like if you find out about them.. and realize that you have so much in common.. like, not JUST the same taste in music and a shared affinity for shows.. but if they also do not drink, smoke, do drugs?? grr.. i'm getting obsessed and i don't know why.. but i guess i kinda do cuz he is perfect!! i can't do anything, either, but stare off from afar because i am the shyest girl alive!! it sucks big time. any suggestions???????? i'm gonna attempt to get some sleep.. nighty night!!

Birthday Present??

so.. while walking for 20 minutes back from my psych experiment way over in Merrill Hall, I realized that least I can do for my brother's birthday is get him a CD.. I was thinking about how Rich came home from school on Monday afternoon, asking if I had recently purchased Sing the Sorrow, which was a negative since I think I purchased it the day it came out, but n e ways.. He said that he has never heard anything by AFI!! I figure - he needs to be exposed!! why not get him a couple AFI cds for his 23rd Birthday?? I think I'll go run out to Best Buy Saturday afternoon before our 5:00 dinner at Carrie Cerino's.. I'll have to decide what he'll like better: AFI, Thrice, The Mars Volta, or something else.. this is a hard one!! I'm gonna go get back to my daydreaming/reading/studying/contemplating..

la la la la la..

i need someone to sing me a lullaby!! =) n e ways.. easy day: my only class was understanding music!! cute boy made it great!! ahaha.. i listened to tracks 1-5 on good mourning on my way back from class - kinda took me to my own little world, like my music always seems to.. it takes me to the place that i belong.. hey! w/out even trying, i quoted lit!! lol.. i guess i did have lit on the brain w/ my title of this blog and the reference to a lullaby!! yeah i suck and i know it.. well i have a psychology exam to study for!! cuz if i get an A, NO FINAL FOR ME!! which means no exams on tuesday december 9th, so i could hang out with nicole during the day before the Alkaline Trio Show!! That'd rock! I mean.. that'd be LIKE THURSDAY!! i kill myself.. *gotta remember to go to my 4:30 experiment!!*

3. 4:30 experiment
4. dinner
5. study structure
6. to the rec!
I hope i get it all done!!!! bye for now!!

*turn to the better*

so i suddenly feel really good!! ahh.. it's real relief to not feel completely misanthropic.. even though i am still in the process of trying to completely recover.. but n e ways.. i just talked to nicole for about 5 minutes and she is as excited as me about going to see alkaline trio!! and she thinks Dane's name is cute which made me smile!! i'm listening to my second alkaline trio of the evening.. and it's making me sing and smile like nothing else!!!!!!!! yay!! i'm gonna blare one of these albums tomorrow before and after music so maybe Dane can hear and say something.. LA ur a genius!! i love you babe!!!! life will eventually work out for me, and i WILL find a decent guy.. i will survive nursing school.. i will meet A. Jay Popoff ;).. i will move to Cali.. i will have a happy, fulfilling life!!!!!!!!..
